I hobnobbed, drinking with a couple of sarf London boys fresh from the Costa Del Crime who claimed they knew the Krays (don't they all).

There was also a couple of hot fraulines, who teased me no end, and I failed on both counts.

All too soon my time was up. I still had plenty of cash left and put it to good use by purchasing seven fake Rolex for around 50.

The Interzone of old has long since vanished though at times I could sense the ghosts of Kerouac and Cassidy at my side especially after a smoke. It still makes a great place to visit : guaranteed sun, friendly people where a small tip works wonders, plenty of cheap beer and first class drugs if you can find a trustworthy source. I will definitely be going back before the old town tumbles into the sea.
